Change Making

How you can initiate change in a slow-moving organization. My job was to build out teams and experiment with this methodology (Design Thinking and Futures Mapping). After 2008 we were losing market share and major clients and small clients. Morale was low and needed to respond in a way they had never responded before. My job was to jump start that team– change the way they work. Through hard work, training, leadership, and experimentation, we were able to bring together a core culture change to get the company comfortable with taking risks again. Ultimately we took the business unit from worry to off-the-charts pride and growth.

Visioning Strategies

Hillary's research into how long-term visions can be harnessed to motivate complex change earned her a  PhD from Carnegie Mellon in Transition Design. She build tools for collective visioning and materializes ridiculously hopeful visions of better futures.
