About the event
As we always do, we will start with a brief "hello" and then learn about this futures tool called Three Horizons. We will break into smaller working groups to try it out and get as far as we can in our hour-long session.
No previous experience necessary. We are all learners here. Strong futures consciousness needs diverse perspectives!
The 3-Horizons framework is a beloved tool for mapping strategic systemic change. Developed by Bill Sharpe, it prompts us to map three overlapping timelines: Horizon 1 (sustaining the present system), Horizon 2 (developing disruptive innovations for future systems), and Horizon 3 (imagining a desired long-term future).
