Best possible & worst possible futures [Future backwards part 1]
Fri, Aug 15
|Zoom + Miro
A powerful exercise for imagining possible futures is from Cynefin (Ki-NEV-in), called Future Backwards. I have used it in many different settings (Nike's Innovation Kitchen, Racial Justice conferences, and for my own dissertation process).

About the event
Join Us for the Future Backwards Activity
All are welcome to participate in an engaging session where you will learn and practice the activity known as Future Backwards (Cynefin). This innovative approach encourages participants to envision both a terribly terribly good future and a horribly horribly bad future. And then work backwards to identify the necessary steps to achieve that vision. We'll do this in two sessions. This is session 1.
What to Expect
Introduction to Future Backwards: Learn the principles and methodology behind this unique activity.
Interactive Practice: Engage in hands-on exercises that allow you to apply the Future Backwards technique.
Group Discussions: Collaborate with others to share insights and strategies for effective planning.
